Navman GPS watch
I bought this GPS watch from
Reeds of Cambridge

It is one superb piece of kit, I havent used it yet, except to walk the dog and measure his walkies but it lloks great.

It is easy to use, a bit clumpy on the arme but nevertheless accurate. It has alot of functions I havent quite worked out yet but it is the speed and distance which is useful. No more guessing how many miles I have plodded!

The thrill of flying

Yes I bought this eaglet flyer from gadget hub, you can imagine the hours of fun I had skipping along with happy children flying my.....

I just cant do it, dont buy it it is crap.

Basically you get a plastic thing which breaks at the very first touch of a nats wings and refuses to fly, for the ten seconds or so of air time I managed with it.

Possibly the worst buy ever, thank you gadget hub.

Bushnell Binoculours
Hmmm got these on a whim at a closing down sale for £32. Apparently they were £120.

They boast 10x25 magnifacation and have a camera in built. But sadly it takes normal batteries and has a pathetic resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.

The bins are actually very good, I am not sure how or when I will use the camera but when I do I will post some images

But still

Chocolate mirror?
What the hell is this all about, a mirror that looks like a bar of chocolate, WTF?

Anyone care to guess what the hell the point is? Usually i like stuff from crazy about gadgets but this has me baffled, what a waste of time.

GPS
I was wondering how useful other people found GPS. As this site is finally on google I might actually get some people reading this!

I have a medion GPS which cost about £399.

basically it is alright and is easily programmed and switched about from car to car. However the limitations are that it is not very accurate over long distances and can lead you astray.

For town it is much better and will always get you to a speciafic address.

One the whole a very useful tool as long as you travel enough to justify it!

Pool
I ordered myself (and my family) a self inflating pool when the weather was hot. I would love to post a critique of it but the bloody weather has been awful since it arrived.

Blame me, I think the weather is my fault. tongue

Welcome
Hi, if you are reading this your are probably into gadgets, toys and other useless items. Whether you want to shoot work colleagues with elastic band guns ride a mini bike around your house, take pictures with digital cameras, spy on your friends, fight with remote controlled tanks or avoid speed traps with anti-radar devices there is lots of choice out there.

Whether it is because we have too much money, time or too little to otherwise do use boys never grow out of our love for gadgets and items with which to shoot, surprise or otherwise bemuse our co-workers. It is my own insatiable lust shiny useless things that brought me to impart my dubious knowledge on the world in general.

I want to share your experiences too so that when I shell out my hard earned on an all singing all dancing pair of laser guided socks what I get really does do what it says on the tin.

Not as happened when Was 7 years old, when I found nd the X-ray specs I had ordered from my comic not only lacked any kind of x-ray facility they also lacked any glass. I have been traumatised ever since.

Somehow I can tell you are not surprised.

Therefore my mission here is to share with you experiences on what looks good in the packet but crap in real life and what is actually worth risking the wrath of the other half to buy.
